Cecille is strong in Mathematics, Accounting, Legal and an expert in bringing a business together. Cecille is Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and has a strong foundation in establishing businesses.
Cecille began her career in 1995 as a project Accountant for Boeing Australia managing budgets for large defence fit outs for the P3C Orion fleet. On project completion, Cecile became a Business Consultant for an enterprise software developer in manufacturing industries with clients such as CSL and Heinz. Moving into the banking sector, she was a senior Analyst at NAB Capital Markets building out an organisation wide Data Warehouse and reporting solutions which included calculating exposures on equity and derivative trades daily.
Moving to the UK enabled Cecille to develop systems for traders at MAN investments a Hedge Fund manager with (at the time) over $20bn funds under management. She worked closely with their IT team as a systems accountant and effectively crossed over into IT & Product development.
Upon return from the UK, she helped Target Australia manage Point of Sale software development with rollout into retail shops Australia wide. The co-founding of Plezzel (with her husband Greg) she structured and grew the business from early beginnings. She oversaw Product development, Support, Finance, Legal and Digital Marketing teams in a fast-moving digital business. Greg & Cecille (and investors) exited the business through acquisition by CoreLogic (now known as Cotality) in 2022.
Cecille enjoys going to Aussie Rules games and supporting the Geelong Cats. Her kids all play sports and she has watched many games of football, soccer, tennis and cricket.
